Public Charter Schools of New Mexico proudly released its 2026 Public Charter School Legislative Scorecards, recognizing current New Mexico State Representatives who have demonstrated support for public charter schools and the students, families, and communities they serve. Across New Mexico, public charter schools help families find the right public school fit for their children, expand opportunities, and support students in communities throughout the state. The legislators featured in these scorecards have earned A or B ratings based on their record of support for policies that strengthen public charter schools and protect family access to diverse public education options.

Current representatives and candidates were also invited to complete a Public Charter School Questionnaire to share their perspectives directly with the public.
