Designed to bring awareness to school options available to families across the state, this event will showcase over 60 school options available to families across the Albuquerque metro area and surrounding communities, including public charter schools, private schools, homeschooling groups, and magnet schools! This event will be fun and family friendly, featuring entertainment and activities such as face painting, balloon artists, snacks, a DJ and a dance floor. Join us as we kick off the start of National School Choice Awareness Week!

Join us on February 10th at the New Mexico State Capitol to celebrate and advocate for public charter schools in New Mexico. Charter School Governing Councils, administration, staff, families, students and supporters are all welcome to come and visit the Roundhouse and engage with legislators throughout the day. PCSNM will host performances and speakers in the Rotunda between 12:00 and 1:00pm.
We will be hosting a reception at the Inn of the Loretto from 5:00 – 7:00pm. Please RSVP below IF you plan to attend this reception.

Presenters will provide an overview of the dynamics of the session as well as observations and shifts in perception of charter schools. We will then go over signed legislation and facilitate group discussions on the impact on charter schools as well as potential spaces for advocacy moving forward.
